PLACING AN ORDER
ORDERING INFORMATION
MAQAM®’s global fulfillment center is in Chicago, and we ship worldwide, including APO/FPO addresses.
All prices on the website are given in $USD (US dollars). We do not provide pricing in any other currency.
As an online store, our main communication method with customers is online. Be sure to use a valid email address that you check frequently as you will receive at least two emails, including one with detailed delivery information. Be sure to add maqam.com to your address book and if your email includes a spam filter, be sure to add maqam.com to your safe list to ensure you receive our emails (especially if you use spam filters from Earthlink, Peoplepc, AOL, etc.).
Please enter your billing and shipping information carefully. If you are using a credit card, your billing address is the address where you receive your credit card statements. Your billing address must match the address your credit card issuer has on file and where your billing statements are sent, or the transaction will automatically be declined. Please be sure to select the proper shipping address for your order. Packages returned due to an incorrect/incomplete shipping address will be resent only after payment of additional shipping charges. All orders are shipped automatically to the address provided during the checkout process without modification.

Orders automatically process and most ship within 1-2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Shipping times begin when the order is actually shipped. For example, if you place an order for in-stock items on Saturday using 3 Day delivery, the order begins processing on Monday (1-2 business days for processing), the order usually ships by Tuesday or Wednesday, and the package will be delivered Friday or Monday (3 business days for delivery in this example).
Once submitted, orders cannot be changed, canceled, or combined, so please be sure to check the entire order before submission.
Sales tax is required only for shipments to the state of Illinois.

SHIPPING INFORMATION – APO/FPO
MAQAM® ships to all APO/FPO addresses. These shipments are considered US deliveries, so please select United States for shipping country, type APO or FPO for the city, and select AA or AE or AP for the state (found at the end of the states list). APO/FPO orders are shipped only via US Postal Service, so select Economy or Standard shipping methods; Expedited Shipping Methods are not available.
DOMESTIC ORDERS: When sending gifts, if you would like a packing slip enclosed (no prices will be shown), please check the Gift Box on the final screen when checking out. Note that you will then have the option to submit a Gift Message which will print on the packing slip.

MAQAM® ships every business day. Please note that business days are Monday-Friday only, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
Please check the information in the Shipping Information Section and also the date of shipment in your confirmation emails (sent to your email address upon receipt of order and shipment of order) for normal delivery times. Shipping confirmation emails contain full details regarding your order, items shipped, back ordered items, etc. If you did not receive your confirmation emails, please check your junk/bulk/spam folder. We are not responsible for emails not received. You may check the status of your order at any time by logging in to your MAQAM Account at www.maqam.com. Please Note: Tracking of shipments is available for expedited delivery methods only (no tracking for Economy and Standard shipping methods).
Please note: All shipping companies (including the postal service) count business days only, excluding weekends and holidays. If this is an international order, delays may occur in customs which are beyond our control. Tracking information is not available for Standard international postal service.

RETURNS/EXCHANGES
Opened products cannot be returned. Unopened products in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days. Shipping charges are not refundable. There is a 10% restocking fee for all returned products.
RETURNS/EXCHANGES MUST BE PRE-AUTHORIZED PRIOR TO RETURN. Return and exchange instructions are clearly printed on your invoice. Please email us for authorization and be sure to include your name, order number, complete address, and reason for return or exchange. You will receive automatic return authorization, including full instructions, within 1-2 business days.

We will cover the liability of purchases made through this web site only if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own. If your bank holds you responsible for fraudulent charges, we will cover your liability up to $50.00.
